About Miles

My name is Moe Hein Naing , and I am currently studying BSc Economics with Finance at the University of Sheffield with a 50% Merit Scholarship.

As a Primary School Student , I was not that determined with my grades and education, since my goals and dreams have not been set. Secondary One was where I started to value my grades and academics, becoming the top student in my class ever since. From there onwards, my friends and classmates always approached me to clarify and explain their unclear concepts and theories. This is where I started to realize that I could thrive in the teaching sector. Eventually, after my IGCSEs, during the 2020 pandemic, I agreed to volunteer as a tutor by accepting my cousin's request to help him study IGCSE for 3 months.

Before I came to the UK, I took a gap year after my A Levels. This is the year where I work as a full-time IGCSE and A-Level tutor (both at a tuition center and privately). For the 2022 Summer IGCSE intake, I tutored three students for Physics,Chemistry and Maths (at a tuition center), and all of them achieved a minimum of Grade 7. I also tutored one student for English Language who achieved a grade 9.
Even until now, during the weekends, I am tutoring four of my private students for the above subjects for January 2023 intake. Furthermore, I am also a part-time tutor for my own sister who will be answering IGCSE next summer.

Despite my actual dream of becoming a Financial Analyst or a consultant, I do have an aim to lecture part-time in one of the Business universities or schools in my country. That is because I always enjoy helping young people like me progress through their educational pathway. I never believed that every student should be like me and practice morals and codes that I academically adhere to. I always believe that they are who they are, their true selves who are gifted in different specializations, and who can achieve marvels. Just like each and every of the teachers I have encountered during high school, I am more than happy to only be a small part of their journey of pursuit towards their greatness.
