About Sophie
I am a qualified post-16 teacher with 8 years' experience in teaching and assessing on the L3 Applied Science Course. I have a degree in a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and Geology from the University of Liverpool. I have taught the old and new specifications for Pearsons and been an internal verifier for moderation. I have also taught the new AQA applied science course. I specialise in biology and physiology units and exams (1, 3, 5 and 7).

The aim is to help students in preparation for their external exams and ensure the highest marks possible, and to support them with their internally assessed coursework. This is particularly important now the applied science courses are exam and coursework based.
