About Felix
Hello! My name is Felix and I am a current senior at AHS, with three years of experience in the marching band and 13 years of experience with percussion overall. My father was a percussionist who taught me when I was younger, and now that I'm older I want to help tutor those who are interested in learning percussion as well. I am very flexible with schedules and willing to work with whatever you are comfortable as a student. It is very important to me that any student has fun during lesson times, and if not then I am willing to find solutions to make lessons more enjoyable.

My lessons are for beginner and intermediate students who are aiming to get a stronger understanding of the foundations of mallet playing. Students who are looking to get better techniques with two and four mallets, sight-reading capabilities, and better at performing around others.
A typical lesson will start off with doing simple warm ups such as scales, easy sight-reading, and possible four mallet practice if you are capable. Then we will work on a piece that has been prepared based off of your skill level. At the end we will go over what's to come for the next lesson along with what your expectations and goals are for continuing with percussion.
