About Lorelei

With over 7 years of ESL teaching experience, I specialise in helping college students improve their academic English step by step. I understand that learning a second language can be challenging, so I create a supportive and positive environment where students feel comfortable practising and asking questions.

My lessons focus on grammar improvement, essay organisation, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation, and speaking confidence. I design interactive sessions that include guided discussions, structured writing exercises, listening practice, and real-life examples. I also use digital platforms and multimedia tools to make lessons modern and engaging. I personalise each lesson according to the student’s goals and pace.

Regular feedback and progress tracking are important parts of my teaching process. My goal is to help students gain fluency, improve academic performance, and communicate effectively in both academic and professional settings.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is centred on real-life communication and steady improvement. I believe students learn English best when they practise it in meaningful situations. I use real-life examples and case studies such as workplace meetings, academic discussions, travel conversations, and social interactions.

This approach helps students connect classroom learning with real-world communication. Motivation is an important part of my teaching. I encourage students to set clear goals and practise consistently.

I create a supportive and respectful environment where students feel confident speaking and asking questions. When students face difficulties, I use problem-solving strategies to identify the issue and explain it in simple steps. I provide structured exercises to improve grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency.

Integrity guides my professional conduct, and I give honest, constructive feedback. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to each student’s level and pace. In addition to ESL, I teach spoken English, business communication, grammar basics, academic writing, and interview preparation.
