About Hudson

For more than 12 years, I have enjoyed sharing my passion for flute with students of different ages and backgrounds. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to improve their musical abilities while enjoying the learning process. My lessons combine technical knowledge with creativity and practical experience.

My teaching approach is based on communication, encouragement, flexibility, and motivation. I create personalized lesson plans that suit each student's strengths and goals. I believe learning becomes more effective when students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.

Besides flute, I also teach music theory, rhythm practice, ear training, breath control, beginner keyboard, sight reading, music appreciation, improvisation basics, and performance preparation. These supporting subjects help students become confident musicians.

I focus on developing breathing techniques, posture, finger coordination, rhythm, tone quality, articulation, and musical expression. Through regular guidance and practical exercises, I help students improve steadily and enjoy lifelong musical growth.

About the lesson

I believe that learning the flute should be both educational and enjoyable. My teaching methodology follows Communication, Accountability, and Integrity, creating a positive learning environment where students gain confidence through regular practice and consistent encouragement.

Students first develop breathing control, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, and tone quality. As they improve, lessons expand to include scales, rhythm exercises, note reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, expression, and stage performance. I guide students patiently and encourage gradual improvement instead of rushing through lessons.

Communication allows students to understand every concept clearly through demonstrations and discussions. Accountability encourages commitment to regular practice, responsibility, and personal growth. Integrity helps me maintain honesty, patience, fairness, and professionalism in every lesson.

Besides flute, I teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Rhythm Practice, Breath Management, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Preparation, and Effective Practice Techniques. These supporting subjects help students become confident and complete musicians.

My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music, strengthen their abilities, and continue learning with dedication.
