About Toros
Hi! I'm Toros, a Neuroscience and Public Health student at UC Berkeley with a passion for history, government, psychology, and the social sciences. Throughout high school and college, I've developed a strong interest in understanding how people, societies, and institutions shape our world. I earned a perfect score on the AP U.S. Government & Politics exam and enjoy helping students make connections between historical events, political systems, and real-world issues. I believe learning should be engaging, not intimidating, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing the critical thinking and writing skills that will help them succeed both in and beyond the classroom.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their goals, learning style, and current level of understanding. Whether you're preparing for an AP exam, improving your performance in class, or strengthening your essay-writing skills, I focus on helping you understand concepts rather than simply memorize information. Together, we'll work through practice questions, analyze historical events, political systems, and social science concepts, and develop the critical thinking and writing skills needed for long-term success. My goal is to build your confidence while helping you become a stronger, more independent learner.
