About Hila

I have more than 6 years of experience teaching ESL to college students, and I believe every learner deserves a personalised learning journey. I focus on understanding each student’s goals and designing lessons that match their needs.

I help students strengthen academic writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and reading skills. I also support them in preparing research papers, presentations, and class discussions.

My teaching style is patient, organised, and motivating. I use interactive discussions, practical exercises, and real-world examples to make lessons meaningful. I also integrate multimedia content and digital tools to enhance engagement.

I provide constructive feedback and track progress regularly. I encourage students to ask questions and practise freely without fear of mistakes.

My aim is to create a positive and productive learning environment where students can grow confidently and achieve success in their academic and professional lives.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching approach is student-centred and goal-oriented. I begin by understanding each student’s purpose for learning English, whether for career growth, higher education, or daily communication. I design lessons using real-life examples and case studies that match their goals. Students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing through meaningful activities like discussions, presentations, and email writing.

Motivation plays a key role in my classroom. I encourage confidence and celebrate improvements, no matter how small. When challenges arise, I apply problem-solving methods by simplifying grammar rules and giving practical examples. I provide extra exercises when needed to strengthen weak areas. Integrity is one of my core values, and I maintain professionalism and honesty in every session.

Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to different learning styles and levels. Besides ESL, I also teach vocabulary building, professional communication, grammar correction, and writing improvement.
