About Callie

With over 5 years of ESL teaching experience, I help college students improve their English skills step by step. My focus is on clarity, practice, and measurable progress.

I guide students in academic writing, grammar structure, vocabulary usage, and pronunciation. I also work on reading comprehension and presentation skills to help students succeed in their studies.

My classes are structured yet flexible. I combine traditional learning methods with interactive activities such as discussions, writing workshops, and role-plays. I also use digital tools and multimedia resources to keep lessons engaging.

I believe feedback is essential for growth. I provide clear corrections and practical suggestions for improvement. I encourage students to ask questions and practise confidently.

My goal is to help students achieve fluency, improve grades, and develop strong communication skills that support their academic journey.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching methodology is based on real-life communication and practical understanding. I believe English should not be limited to textbooks, so I use real-life examples and case studies such as workplace discussions, travel situations, classroom debates, and social conversations. This helps students understand how English is used naturally in different environments.

Motivation is an important part of my teaching. I guide students to set achievable goals and encourage them to practise regularly. I create a positive and respectful atmosphere where students feel confident to speak and improve.

When challenges arise, I apply problem-solving strategies by identifying weak areas and explaining concepts in simple steps. I provide focused exercises to strengthen grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency. Integrity is central to my teaching practice, and I provide honest and constructive feedback. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to individual learning styles and goals. In addition to ESL, I also teach spoken English, business communication, grammar foundations, academic writing, and interview preparation.
