About George
I am a trained actor living in Brighton, and have worked in the UK and in multiple European countries, both for theatre companies, language schools and universities, to help develop communication and bridge linguistic and cultural differences. I have tutored English to native and non-native speakers from more than 10 different countries, and have a great track record for helping students find a more confident and natural command of the English language.

My approach is conversational and playful, and will follow the student's needs. I have a range of acting and speech exercises that will help identify key features of spoken English that can be improved, focussing on: conversational grammar, accent and pronunciation, manner and vocabulary.
I also have a range of text-based, audio and video resources that will engage and entertain as well as help pinpoint specific sounds and mouth shapes, to try and create a broader awareness of English sounds and speech conventions, as well as important cultural references.
