About Hyewon
I grew up in South Korea until high school. I went to high school in Nevada and am studying Economics at one of the top universities in the U.S.!
Just like many other Korean girls, I love K-Pop and my culture in general (food, K-dramas, Korean Youtubers, etc). As an Economics and Public Policy major, I am also interested in discussing global issues and politics.
Another passion I have is debate and philosophy!

I will first try to understand the student's language proficiency level, learning goals, and areas of interest.

My lessons will be tailored to each student's needs and interests.

It will be the student who speaks for the most of the time as speaking the language as much as possible is what I think is the most important and effective.
- Constructive Feedback
Drawing from my fluency in both languages, I will provide accurate feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and nuances.
Each student has a different learning style. For some students, we can discuss the selected topics while incorporating new vocabulary, grammar, and experiences. If necessary, I can also assign reading materials or writing tasks for further practice. For students who are looking for a teacher with whom they can speak casually about their life without the pressure of being correct, we can also fill the time with just us talking!
