About Huiwen
I am a college student major in performing piano, now finishing a BM degree.
I started to learn piano since I was 7, basically grew up in conservatories, so I have a very solid background and knowledge as a performing pianist.
I have been giving private lessons since 2016. I 've been working in a piano institute every summer and had a lot of students.
Classical music is the true niche art which has so many things to explore and the benefit to one's life is enormous, does not matter you are an amateur or a professional.

My teaching method contains two parts. The first one is technique, how to use your fingers to make a good sound, how to control your arm to make the phrase more breathless and touching, how to relax your shoulder to make a grand volume, etc.. The second part is to teach the student how to listen. Listening plays an equally important role as our fingers because it distributes the difference between sounds, which, tells us how to improve at next time. I see it as a very important job to do.
Good musician have the most sensitive ears, they can hear the tiniest gesture in the music, which, brings a huge change.
