• 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I developed an interest as a teacher since I was schooling since both my parents were educators. I was motivated with my parents passion for teaching and the concern to bring up their students. Thats how they brought me up too. Guess that's the reason that made me have an interest in my chosen field and private tutoring.

• 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  - I teach History and English in my school and I'm quite good at them. I'm a History subject degree holder and currently pursuing Masters.
  - I usually like to discuss about current political issues, about culture and etc if its in History tutoring.
  - For English I love to discuss and teach on grammar and writing. I would love to teach my students on speaking with correct grammar.
  - I less likely to start my class with less humour. I love both sides of communications.

• 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  - One teacher that always inspired me was my primary school English teacher. She was the reason I loved my English subject and they way she teaches was a great inspiration for me.

• 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  Integrity
  
  Concern for the students.
  
  Knowledge first; money next.

• 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  - My English teacher back in school used to speak in English only although she knew our mother tongue language no matter if its a weak student or a smart one. We used to think that she doesn't know our mother language. But seems that she wanted us to speak English by hook or crook just to learn it no matter what. She was strict one. A great inspiration she was.

• 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  - In History, sometimes I tend to forget the simple facts during my teaching although its a very familiar topic for me.
  - In English, I sometimes forget the Grammar terms while teaching that make me wonder why did I forget such simple thing

• 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  - Oh yes ! My passion is a total different case. I would love to learn music especially guitar and would like to play on occasions one day. Haven't got a chance yet though. Maybe one day.

• 8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P) ?

  i) I teach someone wholeheartedly.
  ii) I teach with concern
  iii) Students would always get a quick response from me whenever they have a doubt.
  iv) I'm an easy going tutor who repetitively help with the same thing again and again when you don't understand.
  v) I'm an excellent teacher award winner back in University.
  
  I think that's what that can make me a Superprof.
