About Stephen
I have 30 years of teaching experience at both the high school and post-secondary levels. (McDowell Senior & Intermediate High Schools, Villa Maria Academy, Fortis Institute) I also worked as a math and physics tutor at Reading Innovations. I hold a BS in Secondary Education - Math/Physics from Edinboro University (Summa Cum Laude) and an MS in Education from Wilkes University.

I interact with students to determine what is needed, which varies based on the specific situation. For a specific class I will review work with students, provide lessons on weak prerequisite skills, and offer explanations on how to solve different types of problems. For test prep or general review, I will review the main concepts with the student, check their ability to solve different types of problems, and work to improve areas of difficulty. I am also willing to teach a subject or topic to students and adults interested in self enrichment.
