About Marcus
My name is Marcus Elia, I am a 21-year-old university student who is studying accounting. I am putting myself out to basketball training because I have played the sport constantly for the past 14 years, and it has become an essential part of my life. Between watching, playing, and coaching, with every year it has become more essential in my life. I have decided to start private coaching to be closer to the sport I love the most and pass down all the knowledge I have to those learning the sport so they can take any opportunities they get.

I like to focus my sessions around understanding the player I am dealing with, I will always listen to areas in which someone wishes to improve but I also strongly believe playing towards a strength in a players game. Another strong belief of mine is making sure that we are developing skills in which the player enjoys as when you enjoy the skill I will always see more improvement and confidence in their ability. I am a strong believer that although skill is a huge factor in performance it also requires confidence and physical ability to bring out the skills the most in which will also be worked on through repetition and pressure training.
