Hello! My name is Li (李/リー), you may call me 李老师 in Mandarin or リー先生 in Japanese! I'm passionate about helping students unlock the beauty of language learning. With a Master of Teaching from The University of Melbourne, I have a strong foundation in effective teaching methods and a deep understanding of how to make learning both engaging and rewarding. I specialize in Chinese and Japanese, offering lessons that are clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you're a beginner looking to build a solid foundation or an advanced learner aiming for fluency, I will guide you every step of the way with patience, encouragement, and expertise. With years of experience teaching students of all levels, I understand that everyone learns differently. That’s why I adapt my approach to suit your needs—whether you want to improve conversation skills, expand vocabulary, perfect pronunciation, or prepare for exams like VCE. Learning a new language can be challenging, but with the right guidance and support, it can also be exciting and fulfilling. About the lesson

Speaking & Listening: Interactive conversations, pronunciation drills, and listening exercises to build fluency.
Vocabulary & Grammar: Fun and structured lessons to expand vocabulary and improve sentence construction.
Customized Learning: Every lesson is adjusted to your level, pace, and interests, whether it’s daily conversation, travel, business, or exam prep (VCE).

Flexible Lesson Lengths: I offer 30 minutes to 1.5h sessions depending on your needs.
Lesson Breakdown: A mix of speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar practice with engaging materials like dialogues, videos, and cultural insights.
Practice-Oriented: I encourage active participation with real-world scenarios, role-playing, and pronunciation correction.

My Qualifications & Experience:
Master of Teaching, The University of Melbourne – Strong foundation in education principles and language acquisition.
Years of Tutoring Experience – Teaching Japanese to students from diverse backgrounds, including beginners and advanced learners.
Teens to Adults – Suitable for senior or high school students, working professionals.
