About Ellie

Hi! I’m a native Korean speaker and a fluent English speaker currently studying healthcare in Australia. Having grown up using both Korean and English, I understand how confusing Korean can feel when you’re learning it from an English-speaking perspective.

I want to teach Korean because I genuinely enjoy helping people become more comfortable with the language and culture. I know that learning a language is much more than memorizing vocabulary and grammar; it’s about understanding how people actually speak, express themselves and communicate naturally.

I’d love to make Korean feel approachable, practical and enjoyable, whether you’re learning it for travel, K-culture, university, work, or simply because you’ve always wanted to speak Korean.

I am a native Korean speaker who is also fully fluent in English, so I can explain Korean clearly without relying on awkward translations. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, or everyday conversation, I will tailor each lesson to your level and goals.

My lessons focus on real Korean that people actually use, rather than only memorizing textbook phrases. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, or Korean culture depending on what you want to learn.

I aim to make lessons relaxed, practical and enjoyable, while helping you become confident enough to actually use Korean in real life!
