About Thalison

I've played chess since I was a kid, but my true immersion into the rich chess culture began in 2018 in Argentina, at a Venezuelan Chess Club. There, I had the privilege of meeting strong players and masters—many of whom became close friends, treating me like family. I studied under an incredible teacher and later invited one of the masters to be my roommate so we could share expenses. We lived together for about two years, and that experience profoundly changed my perspective on chess training. Watching him train and teach his students daily gave me invaluable insight into high-level coaching and player development.

I started from scratch, knowing absolutely nothing about chess, and thanks to Thalison I am now able to develop a good calculation and understand the tactics of the game.
