I am a Chinese Classical Dance performer and instructor with over three years of training and stage experience. I have performed as a lead dancer in UCLA Chinese Classical Dance productions, where I developed a strong foundation in classical technique, expression, and performance quality.
I am passionate about sharing Chinese classical dance through structured yet supportive teaching, helping students build confidence, strength, and artistry at their own pace.

I offer high-quality, personalized Chinese Classical Dance training for students of all levels, taught by a lead performer from the UCLA Chinese Classical Dance community with over three years of intensive performance and teaching experience.
My background combines rigorous classical technique, expressive movement, and modern teaching methods adapted to each student’s goals. Whether you are a complete beginner exploring Chinese classical dance for the first time, or an experienced dancer looking to refine posture, flexibility, musicality, and stage presence, I design each lesson to help you progress efficiently and confidently.
As a featured performer in UCLA dance productions, I bring professional rehearsal standards and performance-level coaching into every class. Lessons focus not only on movement accuracy, but also on body lines, rhythm interpretation, storytelling, and cultural expression, which are essential to authentic Chinese classical dance.

Each lesson begins with a guided warm-up to activate the body and prevent injury, followed by focused breath and movement coordination training, which is essential in Chinese Classical Dance. We then work on foundational techniques, posture, and body alignment before moving into expressive movement and musical interpretation.
Typically, within one to two lessons, students are able to learn a short choreographic phrase or movement combination, which can be used for practice, presentation, or personal showcase. This approach helps students see tangible progress while building confidence and performance awareness.
Lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing me to adjust pacing and content based on each student’s level, goals, and physical condition.
