About Aparna
I have been learning and practicing Hindustani classical music for the past 10 years, and music has been a constant and meaningful part of my life. Over the years, this journey has taught me not only musical technique and discipline, but also patience, focus, and emotional expression.
Being a student of classical music myself, I deeply understand the challenges and doubts that beginners often face. This is why I believe teaching should be gentle, encouraging, and well-structured, allowing students to grow comfortably at their own pace. My classes focus on building strong fundamentals, clear voice techniques, and a steady riyaz routine without pressure.
I want to share my knowledge because music has given me confidence, calm, and balance, and I wish to pass on the same experience to my students. My aim is to guide learners with kindness, clarity, and personal attention, helping them develop not just skills, but a genuine and lasting connection with music.
For me, teaching is a heartfelt exchange where learning, growth, and love for music flow naturally.

In my classes, I focus on creating a calm, encouraging, and comfortable learning environment where students can grow at their own pace. I understand that every student is different, so my teaching approach is always patient, flexible, and personalized.
I begin with strong basics of Hindustani classical music, helping students understand proper voice placement, breathing, and pitch awareness. Riyaz is introduced step by step, in a simple and structured way, so students do not feel overwhelmed and can enjoy the learning process.
I give special attention to voice clarity and correct technique, while also motivating students to practice regularly with confidence. My aim is not just to teach songs, but to help students develop musical understanding, discipline, and love for music.
Whether the student is a complete beginner or someone looking to improve their foundation, I guide them with kindness, consistency, and clear explanations, making sure they feel supported throughout their journey.
