About Michal
I've graduated from Japanese studies, which taught me all the technical knowledge about Japanese and linguistics. Apart from that I spent a year learning Japanese in Tokyo at Waseda University, where I've seen how the Japanese teach their own language and use it in their daily lives. I'm a patient and kind person, so don't worry about asking in class any questions that come to your mind. I'm passionate about teaching and enjoy seeing people grow. I graduated with a degree in Japanese Studies from the Jagiellonian University and would be happy to help you learn Japanese. I teach from the very beginning up to level N2.
Japanese is a fascinating language, completely different from European languages. In our classes, we will delve into it; I will try to explain grammar in the most accessible way possible, help you understand the structure of kanji characters, and create mnemonics, which, as I know from my own experience, make learning Japanese easier and help you remember characters better. I will also help you understand Japanese pronunciation, especially the specific tonal accent.
I provide all the necessary materials myself. Classes are tailored to the student's level and needs.
You decide what we focus on! We can work on handwriting, practice conversation, or read manga together.
I am currently studying in France, so I only teach online. Also, a discounted rate of 16 euro/hour is available for students taking at least two hours of lessons per week!
