As a mechanical engineering student at MUN, I love helping students discover the “why” behind physics and math concepts. My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations, breaking down complex ideas into simple steps, and connecting lessons to real-world examples that make learning feel intuitive and practical.
In a typical lesson, I start by reviewing what the student already understands, then introduce new concepts using clear explanations, guided practice, and visual problem-solving strategies. We work through examples together, and I always encourage questions so students feel confident and supported. I end each lesson with a quick recap and tips for independent practice.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, my ability to explain concepts in multiple ways, and my genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed. Because I’m currently studying engineering, I bring a fresh and relatable perspective that helps learners see how the material fits into bigger ideas and real applications.
My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students studying physics or math, whether they need help catching up, want to strengthen their skills, or are aiming for top grades. No matter the level, I tailor each session to the student’s pace and learning style so they can grow with confidence
