About Michelle
Hello, my name is Michelle Winer and I specialize in elementary education, kindergarten through fourth grade math or language arts. I attended Western Michigan University for undergrad where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, before continuing my education at Nova Southeastern Florida to get my masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
I have taught for 21 years at Westlake Elementary, Battle Creek, Michigan 49014, where I have not only taught but also participated as a grade level tutor in reading, Bridges Math Curriculum, UFLI, Fountas and Pinnell and Math coach focused on AMVR.

I would be a great tutor for student’s at any level in either mathematics or English language arts who are in pre-k through fourth grade. Not only am I encouraging my students but I feel that the best learning is done when students are comfortable with the tutor/teacher and the content. Therefore, I do my best to create a learning space that is inviting, positive and also constructive. I believe that each student is unique and has a voice if they are given the opportunity to express themselves. I would love the chance to meet your student.
