I myself love learning different topics, and am constantly brushing up on my knowledge. I pride myself in being a self disciplined learner, as well as a person who enjoys teaching others what I’ve learned. As your next tutor, I will listen to your needs and develop lessons that will cater to your learning style. And overall, what makes me different is that I see you as the person you are and see the learning obstacles as just what they are. The troubles you may face or have do not define you as a learner, and don’t determine your definition of success.

As a person who sometimes learned in an alternative way, I see the importance in pinpointing strategies that better work when studying. I am a tutor that sees an individual as an individual and listens to their needs. To achieve a comfortable mindset in learning, I think personalized strategies become important. When a student can independently understand how to effectively learn a topic, they can feel more empowered in their study sessions. I base my teaching sessions around whatever a student feels they need to focus on, and work together in strategies that make them feel comfortable. Further, I base next sessions off of ending points of the previous session, as well as helpful information that is related to a designated learning hurdle. I shape every teaching session to match what the student may feel works best for them.
