About Abinaya
I am a fully qualified Secondary Maths teacher with a PGCE and a First Class degree in Education. I am registered with education workforce council and have an Enhanced DBS. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence and succeed in maths. My training and classroom experience have given me a strong understanding of the curriculum and how to support students of different abilities. I am friendly, patient, and approachable, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. As a mother, I also understand the importance of providing supportive and encouraging learning for every child.

My lessons are fully personalised to suit each student’s individual needs, ability, and learning style. I create customised lesson plans based on the topics they are studying in school, whether they need support, consolidation, or challenge. I focus on building confidence, improving understanding, and developing problem-solving skills. As a PGCE Secondary Maths student, I use clear explanations, structured practice, and exam-style questions to prepare students for assessments. My lessons are supportive, patient, and designed to help every student make meaningful progress.
