About Alasdair
I am a PGDE trained maths and physics tutor currently based in Scotland. I am passionate about both subjects and passing on the joys that studying them can bring. The main issue students tend to face when studying these subjects (amongst others too) is a lack of confidence in applying the knowledge they already have and, as such, my manner with students is one of support and encouragement.

Tutoring sessions are built and designs around the needs of the student. As such, the emphasis can be on their needs from exam preparation to deepening fundamental understanding.
Lessons are typically one hour in length but can be varied as required.
Undergraduate honours degree in maths and physics plus masters degree in physics. I have a postgraduate diploma in education for secondary teaching (maths and physics) thus have experience teaching in secondary schools at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher level.
Lessons are mainly for secondary school students in Scotland studying towards National 5, Higher or Advanced Highers in maths and/or physics but anyone studying these level of qualifications are welcome such as GCSE and A-Level.
