About Irum
I am a qualified pharmacist with a strong academic background and a passion for helping children build their confidence in maths. I am patient, friendly and encouraging, and I adapt my explanations to suit each child’s individual learning style. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and developing their maths skills at their own pace.

I would sell my maths lessons by focusing on making maths simple, engaging and confidence-building for each child. I understand that children learn at different speeds, so I would adapt my teaching style to the individual student and break difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps. My lessons would combine explanations, worked examples, practice questions and regular recap activities to make sure the student genuinely understands the topic rather than simply memorising a method.
