About Xavier
Hi there, I am a current pharmacy student in Perth with over 4 years of tutoring experience and a background in ATAR physics, chemistry, human biology, biology and English. I also have experience tutoring ATAR German!
My tutoring journey started when I was only 15, with my first job teaching Chinese students English online.
Since then, I have worked with tutoring companies both in person and online and have also recruited students doing my own solo tutoring.
Teaching and sharing knowledge for me has always been something that has felt like a natural fit, and it is something that has really influenced me to take a career in healthcare.
Through these lessons, I not only hope to help you achieve your goals but also do something that I am quite passionate in.

I focus on being patient and encouraging for my students; as a student I know how hard learning can be, and I prioritize creating an environment where my students feel comfortable making mistakes, learning from them, and working with them until they reach their goals.
My approach to tutoring is teaching students to constantly review their work, identify areas of strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies for rectifying these weaknesses that work for the student personally.
I also work not just on coursework, but learning transferable skills as we go through lessons, such as time and task management, setting goals and how to study effectively.
Typical lessons will run for an hour and focus consulting a course outline or similar and working until students feel confident, reviewing tests or exams, or discussing and working through effective study techniques.
My lessons are for all ages and backgrounds!
