About Farheen
I have been informally tutoring and mentoring students since the seventh grade, working with neighborhood children, relatives, and classmates across subjects including English, history, and social studies. Through this hands-on experience, I've learned how to explain concepts clearly and keep young learners between the ages of 3 and 12 engaged and motivated. I consistently performed well academically throughout school in English, history, social studies, and geography, giving me a strong foundation in the exact subjects I plan to teach. I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Pharmacy, which has sharpened my communication skills and my ability to break down complex information into simple terms — a skill I bring directly into how I teach younger students. Combining my years of informal teaching experience with my strong academic background, I'm confident in creating an engaging, age-appropriate learning environment for elementary-level students."

I believe that learning, specially for younger students is easier and fun when the lessons are simply explained, fun and interactive. I try to understand and observe what way of teaching makes my students learn best and personalize my ways of teaching for each student uniquely. This way it's not just traditional learning environment, instead it's a personal experience for each kid. I observe what points get them stuck and help them get through by explaining it in different approaches, there's no immediate rush to learn a topic in a specific time. If my students get somewhere or find a certain topic hard, I give them tie to process and think over the information which helps their brain create a unique understanding of the topic. My lessons are primarily targeted towards elementary and middle school students.
