About Devin
After receiving my Phd in Biochemistry in 2009, I have spend the last 15 years as an accomplished research scientist working in a corporate environment to discover and develop treatments for genetic diseases. During this time, I have realized that what I missed most about the academic experience was being able to teach and to inspire up and coming students about just how incredible the world around us, and within us, truly is.

With 15 years of experience working in research labs, I bring a unique understanding, perspective and passion to the life sciences.
Whether you're just beginning to learn about "the powerhouse of the cell", or are digging deeply into the inner workings of a single protein and its individual molecules, through a philosophy of working a student vs. Teaching AT a student, I can make this area approachable, understandable, and dare I say, fun.
