About Cindy
Hi, I’m Cindy! I am a Bioscience PhD researcher with a passion for turning complex scientific ideas into "aha!" moments. I’ve spent the last 10 years not just doing research in labs like Imperial College London, but writing about it for people who aren't scientists. I teach because I truly believe science shouldn't be intimidating. My teaching style is 100% collaborative—we are a team. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all lectures. Instead, I specialize in taking difficult concepts and translating them into the real world, specifically contextualizing them around what you enjoy most. Whether you love sports, cooking, or gaming, I can find a way to link biological processes to your hobbies to help the information stick. My goal is to help you move away from memorizing to truly understanding, all while making our sessions stress-free and engaging. I am a published scientist and an AFHEA-qualified educator currently finalizing my PhD. Throughout my career, including mentoring students to achieve 1st class degrees, I’ve found that the best learning happens when we build a bridge between the textbook and your reality.
