About Margaret
Simple memorization often hides a lack of true understanding. I spent 2 years teaching students how to move beyond rote habits. My work covers conceptual learning, lab and practical work, and equation balancing.
Organic chemistry and thermochemistry become manageable with the right framework. Exam preparation remains a priority throughout sessions.
I teach you through the periodic table and trends while refining your numerical problem solving. Inorganic chemistry is just a collection of patterns waiting to be recognized. I enjoy watching students connect these abstract ideas to the physical world.

Independent problem solving is the quiet goal of these sessions. Sometimes the hardest part is admitting that a specific formula feels like a foreign language.
I use my 2 years of experience to bridge that gap with clear, step-by-step logic. A diagnostic test for every student before we begin helps me map out your specific trajectory.
My background as a PhD candidate at the University of Virginia shapes how I approach these interactions. I maintain an 8.0 standard for precision in our scientific discussions.
You will practice through many examples until the methods feel automatic. You will walk away with a permanent grasp of the material. Your ability to solve complex problems will be fully established by the end.
