About Jessica
I am committed to giving students the tools and ways in which they can evolve into independent thinkers. I want them to leave my classes with more than just notes and memorized content. I hope to equip them with curiosity, analytical reasoning, and the ability to confront new problems with confidence and thinking that is outside the box. Ultimately, I hope that this will serve them well as they pursue different vocations. Especially in fields like research, medicine, or education.

I want the students to be able to understand complex topics while critically thinking of the real-world implications in whatever context they encounter. I want to educate on comprehension and application rather than memorization. This at least would provide a basis to learn efficiently rather than regurgitating lessons without knowing why. I also want to make sure that each student is heard and seen in terms of their learning comfort. I am flexible and adaptable-- I am well aware one student's learning experience is not the same as another. At the end of the day, I want the student to succeed and excel.
