About Karan
I am pursuing a PhD in philosophy at the City University of New York Graduate Center. My undergraduate education is from Grinnell College in Iowa, where I majored in philosophy and mathematics. I am interested in tutoring philosophy as well as English with an emphasis towards competitive examinations (GRE, GMAT etc.)

I intend on having one-on-one classes and my methodology is to inculcate a solid grasp of the basics, be it in philosophy, where the issues are foundational and build upon a core tradition, or in competition-centric English, where the focus should be on developing an instinct for close reading and comprehension.
