About Jacob
I have always had a passion for science, especially biology and developing new treatments for human diseases. This led me to complete my undergraduate studies in Biomedicine and progress to undertake my PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology. Now, I love to share my knowledge and experience with other young students who might also harbour a passion for pursuing science in their own future careers.

With 6+ years of experience as a private tutor, I like to teach science by discussing state-of-the-art research and real-world discoveries with students (much more engaging and beneficial than just reading a textbook)! That being said, I remember being a student all too well myself and balance this holistic approach to learning biology with the fundamentals necessary for students to succeed in their assessments.
I am most experienced working with high school and university students, but can cater to younger students too.
