About Shaista

A friendly, enthusiastic teacher who wants to make Chemistry learning an easy and enjoyable journey. Most important aspect is that “I own my student`s result, I believe his/her result is my result”. I teach according to OBE (outcome based education) whose main theme is "Its not what we teach, its what students learn".

About the lesson

My motto is `Teaching is a profession with PASSION`.I am PhD in Material/Polymer Chemistry and having more than 20 years experience in different fields of Chemistry in colleges/universities. I teach my students by keeping myself on their level, first identify their weak areas and then start working on it. After filling that gap, then we both (student and teacher) start our journey to uplift our graph of progress. Most important aspect of my teaching is that `I own my student`s result, I believe his/her result is my result`. To make MY RESULT brilliant, I really really work hard on my student. I teach according to the concept of OBE (outcome based education) whose main theme is "Its not what we teach, its what students learn". We gradually rise up the stairs of six hierarchical levels of learning (knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation). I am friendly and enthusiastic teacher who wants to make this journey of Chemistry learning an easy and enjoyable journey.

Throughout my education career I haven't met a professor like her. She is an amazing teacher. Besides teaching academics she builds the character and makes sure that each of the students is getting full attention of her.

Mam Shaista is one of those teachers who impart her knowledge in a matter of seconds and students remember it forever. A one time revision is enough for her lectures. She connects the wires directly with her students. The best teacher.

I studied GCSE and IB chemistry from her and she is the best teacher I've ever had. This recommendation might seem really perfect to be one but with all due honesty I assure that it was because of Miss Shaista that I transitioned from an average or below average kid in Chemistry Class to getting a distinction and an A* in Chemistry GCSE and I got the highest grade in the country for IB Chemistry HL with 23/34 marks in the Chemistry IA.

She teaches all concepts in such vivid detail that after so many years, every single thing is stitched in my mind hitherto. Her teaching is at Par with the stellar feynman technique where she also made me a strategic learner and allowed me to score A*s in all other subjects as well. I Highly recommend her for every single student who wants to nurture his academic wallet and achieve the glories of success just like me...a successful aerospace engineering and Physics student at The University of Manchester
