About Jérôme

My methodology is based on a personalized approach adapted to the needs of each student according to their specific difficulties (TSA, ADD, ADHD with or without dys etc.) in order to optimize the student's learning in terms of reasoning, calculations and problem solving, drafting and acquisition of priority concepts. My approach is essentially based on interaction with the student. My educational approach is therefore the priority to support each student according to his pace, his specific difficulties, his expectations and his own needs. Depending on the profile of each student, my pedagogical and methodological approach is adapted and personalized, according to the skills I acquired during my doctorate in psychology, particularly in terms of identifying difficulties associated with various disorders. and specs like TSA, ADHD, TED etc.

I therefore base my courses on a centered approach to the resources of each student. The methodology sought is particularly effective for students with cognitive or other disorders. The methodology differs obviously according to the difficulties of each one but is inspired in part by CBT, positive psychology, motivation and encouragement, and especially the understanding and taking into account of the mental universe of the school students.

The courses I teach in particular in maths, physics-chemistry and svt (but not only) are based on a methodological and psycho-pedagogical approach adapted to the resources specific to each schoolboy or student. Particularly effective for schoolboys and students in difficulty or even in academic failure, I use many cognitive remediation tools so that each student can acquire new methodological bases of reading and writing / structuring, analysis, reasoning and problem solving. The methodology is based on solid foundations recognized in cognitive psychology and is partly inspired by positive psychology (motivation, encouragement etc.) cognitive/metacognitive strategies and is based above all on the understanding and consideration of the student's or schoolboy’s mental universe. For students and schoolboys with ADHD or with simple attentional difficulties, I can offer the ATOLE program of attentional remediation (from JP LACHAUX INSERM LYON).

For sessions carried out in visio (via Zoom, Skype etc.), I have a dedicated graphic tablet to write spontaneously on a virtual board and thus optimize the course:
- this avoids a constraint/distance inherent in distance learning;
- it facilitates interaction with each student by offering a didactic and dynamic course (screen sharing, graphic tablet for handwriting reasoning, analysis etc. if necessary).

I have a solid general knowledge in many fields: sciences (psychology, biology, mathematics, physics, medicine, ecology, ethology, philosophy, epistemology, nature, energetics, cognitions, sustainable development, marketing, management, communication, economics, politics, etc.).

I can also coach students in times of demotivation, restore confidence, especially those returning to school.

My role is to allow students to give the best of themselves from a differentiated pedagogy that is based on the mobilization of the student's metacognitive resources. References available on request. Follow-up of the CNED program if necessary.

My qualities:
- Scientific rigour and professionalism
- Perfect mastery of methodologies
- active listening and innovative pedagogy
- approach from cognitive neuroscience
- patience and kindness
- availability and responsiveness
- reliability, structure and mastery of many computer and digital tools
- great intellectual curiosity, and great pleasure to teach and share knowledge!

The 1st course offered is available in a phone call to discuss the course modalities, the course and operation of the sessions, answer your questions, set the expected objective etc.

Audio recording possible of the sessions.
