For piano (sample description):
•Lesson Structure: Your lessons include a mix of classical repertoire, technique exercises, music theory, ear-training and composing, if you are so inclined. I model musical and technical concepts and use questioning techniques to encourage student problem-solving.
• Our benchmarks include: a) at least one student recital per year, at home and/or on the stage alongside my studio
b) private recordings of your performed pieces and compositions for you to create a personal performance archive and
c) recorded/digital piano performance exams upon the completion of each grade of playing (1-8), independently evaluated by ABRSM examiners (encouraged).

•Assessment: Your progress is documented through student recitals, regular low-pressure lesson/at-home recordings, piano exams with independent examiners by the ABRSM (optional) at the end of each piano Grade (1-8) and regular feedback to students and parents.

The process:
• It all starts by setting quarterly and yearly goals together, based on your learning needs and interests. I also provide study and practice guidelines to students and parents.
Your curriculum is all about you!
