About Evarista
I have a B.Sc. in mathematics and an M.Sc. in computer science. I have 20 years experience in teaching O level mathematics and 17 years experience in teaching A level mathematics. I love teaching and I am patient, I put my heart into helping my students become skillful in Mathematics.

I have a discussion with the student. To have a clear understand of his prior knowledge of and feelings towards the subject. I try to get suggestions from the students on ways he/she learns best.
I try to adapt to the students needs. After explaining a concept and demonstrating with an example, I give him/her an exercise to try out. The students approach to solving (if solved) the problem gives insight to his/her cognitive ability.
I use visual aids, pictures, chats, animations, physical objects, online videos. Regular assessment, homework, assignment, mock tests etc when the student doesn't get a problem right, I try to find a way to put the student at ease (crack a joke), then put him/her on the right track.
