About Maeve
I just finished my PhD in mechanical engineering in trinity college Dublin. I also completed my bachelors degree in Trinity. It was in nano science - physics and chemistry of advanced materials. I received a first class honors in my degree. I also received a gold medal for acamdeic excellence in degree examinations. During my PhD I also completed a certificate in statistics. I have tutored for several years in Ireland in biology and maths at GSCE and A-level equivalent levels. I have taught numerous engineering tutorials and labs during my PhD in subjects such as forensics engineering, materials science, fluid and thermodynamics along with mechanics. I also worked on stem school camps for children aged 12-14 teaching engineering concepts. This was a really fun experience. I’m a friendly, outgoing person who really enjoys teaching and passing on their knowledge.
Prizes and Scholarships :
Gold medal for outstanding academic achievement in undergraduate course.
Other Qualifications :
A1 (highest grade achievable) in Irish Leaving certificate in Biology, Chemistry and Physics
