About Gandhi
I received my PhD in 2016, and am currently working at UCLA as a research fellow. My research focuses on sleep in hunter-gatherer populations, and has been featured in National Geographic, NPR, the LA Times, and even an XKCD webcomic! I have been teaching college courses since 2011, especially freshmen classes. I enjoy discussing advanced material with my A students, and have always been especially proud seeing my students who get C's and D's on midterms get A's and B's on finals after working with me.

My teaching style is casual and informal. I'd rather talk to my students like it was a regular conversation than be called "Doctor" or "Professor". I use a lot of examples and stories from my experiences and observations around the world, and do my best to talk about how schoolwork topics apply to real life situations.
