About Peta
I became incredibly curious about the nature of light as a child, asking my family and teachers to try to understand how it worked. The more I learned, the more fascinating it seemed and the more
questions I had. I kept asking and this led to my working with some of the most intense sources of laser light in the world. I did a physics degree at York University and a PhD in physics at Queens University Belfast. Stay curious, it takes you on a wonderfully exciting journey!

Lessons are 50 mins in duration with a teaching method based on reducing the anxiety and fear around learning and making the subject matter fun and relatable. I have 1-1 tutored, taught group activity lessons, and given talks to schools and to public audiences. I am also able to coach on public speaking and presentations.
