About Stephen
I've taught psychology at prestigious schools (such as Washington University in St. Louis), state schools (Mississippi State University; University of Kansas) as well as a private university in Pittsburgh. Please know that I do have high expectations for my students and will not tolerate the view that learning success is the sole responsibility of the teacher. My view is that the teacher's job is to facilitate learning (not simply repeat facts that are already listed in the text). Let me HELP you learn.

Lectures and discussions need to be engaging, interactive, and interesting. While not every topic is inherently riveting, such topics can still be presented in more captivating ways (critical thinking topics applied to paranormal beliefs; statistical topics applied to everyday behavior like how you hang your TP; physiology of the eye - how easy is it really to shoot your eye out? etc.).
