About Reni
I graduated in 2001 from University of Tirana in Finance and Accounting. Then I went to attend an MBA program in Lincoln, Nebraska, US. The experience was very fruitful and I wrote my first draft of Mathematical Finance while there. After graduation, I came back to my country working as a professor of Financial Management and International Financial Management. My PhD thesis focused on the risks of financial markets (exchange, securities and interest rates) in Albania. After my PhD I worked for 8 years as Director General in the Supreme State Audit Office in Albania, in charge of performance auditing. My background in Managerial Accounting, Risk Assessing and Financial Evaluation came very handy and the job was wonderful. Now I am back in University, preparing my next advancement in my academic career.
