About Kayla
I began chemistry courses in college, never having taken science outside of biology. I remember clearly how foreign the concepts were at the start. I went on to earn two bachelor's of science degrees, in Biomedical Chemistry and General Chemistry, followed by a PhD in Organic Chemistry. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles, have ownership in three patents, and continue research toward the treatment of Parkinson's disease. My students have gone on to medical school, graduate school, pharmacy school, etc. with success. You can join in that trend!
