Jessica is one of, if not the most caring professor and person I have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with. It is so rare, especially at the collegiate level, to find a professor that cares not only about your growth as a student, but as a person as well.

She goes out of her way to push those who excel to achieve more as well as nurture those who are struggling, lifting them up. Her presence in the classroom commands attention. Sometimes, I have found that teachers who have a no nonsense approach create a divide between themselves and their students. She does not have this problem. She truly is the perfect blend of friend and educator.

Since finishing her class, I find myself continuing to return to her time and again for her insight on any number of issues and she has since become a mentor of mine. She never fails to to take time out of her busy schedule to give me her undivided attention. I have nothing but the highest praise for her and I firmly believe that any student to come in contact with her will benefit.
