About Afifah
I have been in UK academia since the age of 18 and have 8 years of experience teaching A-level, undergraduate and postgraduate students online and in-person.
I am happy to help with university applications, essays and personal statements as someone who has recently gone through this process.

I prefer to make my own slides based on the syllabus including custom diagrams and notes which I then send to the students after each lesson.
Lessons are typically 45-50 mins which is enough to explain difficult concepts without students being overwhelmed with new information.
I have built up my experience through previous A-level tutoring as well as undergraduate Biomedical Science small group teaching. I am a recent Microbiology PhD graduate with a Masters in Clinical Immunology and an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences.
I plan to teach Biology up to A-level, and Maths and Chemistry up to GCSE. I also plan to help with university applications.
