I have achieved success as a scientist, generating and publishing influential research. These accomplishments have been the result of receiving valuable guidance and mentorship. In return, I have mentored numerous biology and science students, leading them to achieve exceptional results.
My interactions with students are guided by a philosophy of mutual respect, recognizing their strengths and confidence, and connecting the learning with experiences to real-world applications. I will always aim to understand how a student learns concepts in order to personalize the tutoring experience.

My teaching techniques include, (1) connecting the knowledge and skills to be learned to real-world applications, (2) encouraging students to problem-solve, and (3) encouraging mutual respect and confidence so that the lesson can be more interactive.
My teaching methodology includes (1) listening to the student, (2) understanding what concepts they need to learn, (3) focusing on how they will grasp the concept to be learned and (4) teaching in a way that is personalized for the student.
I have a history of tutoring (5 years +) undergraduate immunology, cell biology, microbiology, and biotechnology (both for theory and hands-on experimental work). I am very happy and well-suited to tutoring secondary high school students (16 - 18 years) and undergraduate university students.
