I use multiple methods (lecturing, reading, documents analysis, composition, research...) and resources (textbooks, digital and online material). I am very passionate about that subject and curious about what happens and happened in a constantly changing world. I'm patient, supportive and I teach rigorous methods to diverse learners (from Middle School to College and beyond).
I am a certified Social Studies teacher who taught World and European History as well as Human Geography for 18 years and French and Francophone History and Geography for 21 years. I earned a PhD in History from University of Lille (France). I teach all periods of World History (Prehistory, Antiquity, Middle Age, Modern Period, Contemporary History) as well as Human Geography at various scales and Geopolitics and Current Events.
There is a $5 travel fee if more then 5 miles (and $10 if more than 10 miles) from Park Ridge. Cancellation need to be communicated to me more than 6 hours prior to the planned lesson, except major emergency of course.
