About Everett
I am a PhD scientist with extensive experience in teaching, research, and mentoring students at multiple levels, from foundational coursework to advanced scientific training. My work combines university-level instruction with real-world biomedical research, which allows me to teach science in a way that is both academically strong and highly practical. I specialize in helping students understand difficult material by making it clear, organized, and connected to the bigger picture. I teach biology, anatomy, physiology, immunology, and research-focused science by helping students understand the “why” behind the material, not just memorize facts. My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, whether they are in high school, college, graduate school, or preparing for professional programs. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, logical pieces, then reinforcing them through discussion, application, and problem-solving. I also help students with scientific reading, experimental design, data interpretation, and exam preparation. My goal is to build real understanding, confidence, and independence so students can think like scientists, not just pass the next test.
