About Hassan

- PhD Mechanical Engineer (Received Outstanding Doctoral Award from AUT).

- I lectured Mechanical Engineering students for the last six years and taught more than 1500 students at different universities within and outside New Zealand.

- Worked as a tutor for NCEA Level 2 & 3 physics privately and also as a visiting tutor at a College in Auckland.

- Worked as a support person for students with special needs at AUT.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on developing a strong conceptual understanding of Physics and Mathematics rather than simple memorization. I use digital notes, interactive problem-solving, and online simulations to help students visualize complex physical and mathematical concepts.

During lessons, I explain key ideas clearly and work through step-by-step examples and exam-style problems commonly found in NCEA and IGCSE assessments. I also connect concepts to real engineering applications, helping students see how these ideas are used in practice.

My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to build their confidence and genuine interest in Physics—especially mechanics.

I highly recommend Mr. Hassan as my Physics teacher. When I transfered to TC as a Yr13 I really have no knowledge about physics, because I didn't learn Level 1 and 2 physics. But he taught me everything I needed to know in Lv 3 which made me pass all my external papers. He is approachable and always answers my questions very clearly. I'm really thankful to Mr. Hassan because without him I'm might not be able to take Engineering this year at Uni.
